🇯🇵How Japan Became the Poorest Country in The World 🇯🇵

In this video, nostr:npub1s5yq6wadwrxde4lhfs56gn64hwzuhnfa6r9mj476r5s4hkunzgzqrs6q7z and James Lavish help me understand why a country's debt burden can have devastating effects on people's lives and how #bitcoin fixes this.

Thanks man!

That sounds amazing - I’ll let you know if I need anything

Have more than 20.000

Travel videoshots but can only reach it once I am back in the Netherlands this summer. Did not bring all my HD on my travels. Keep up the good work!

Are they indexed?

Yes years of tagging 😂 https://www.shutterstock.com/g/TravelTelly/video

Now I try to focus on my art and do less travel video/photography

But you can get it (no need to buy) from me (if you need any) only I am still on the road till spring/summer arrives back in EU😅

Awesome video as always! I don't know if you've already tested it but have though about giving flare a try? cc: nostr:npub1zach44xjpc4yyhx6pgse2cj2pf98838kja03dv2e8ly8lfr094vqvm5dy5 https://www.flare.pub/

Have you seen this? According to the movie, everything is going well just as BoJ planned. Successfully destroyed MoF and monopolized the power over monetary policies and financial institutions.

Interesting.. got to check this one out

Glory to Nakamoto!

#bitcoinfixesthis

Keep up the great work Max

Very refreshing content

Would love to see this posted on Flare as well!

Japan is not the poorest country in the world

Tout à fait il y a pire même au sein des pays du G7

Powerful Max. Love your work sir, onward.

Amazing and enlightening! Thanks Max!

Excellent! Thank you for sharing!

Dude, I've just been looking into this more recently (as a resident of Japan), so your video comes at the perfect time!

Was great to meet you at Nostrasia. Keep up this awesome content!

En plus du vieillissement de la population, aujourd'hui le Japon peine à recruter, malgré toutes les appels à l'embauche qu'il publie. Le salaire minimum y est aussi pour beaucoup

I understand how inflation devalues savings. The video makes a larger claim that people are getting payed less for their labor. How does that happen?

As the supply of currency inflates, without a matching wage increase the workers are making proportionally less. Cost of living going up and peoples slice of the pie is getting smaller

I don’t understand why nominal wage wouldn’t rise like everything else. Actually, I think I got it: Cantilian effect takes away purchasing power from most people by shifting it to those closest to the money printer.

À coût de centimes ça ne sait strictement à rien.. L'exemple de la France que la plupart des étrangers ne comprennent pas ces 10 dernieres avec les partenaires est plus criant

Then the malinvestments happen as companies try to meet the temporary fake demand increase. The economy gets a little tilted each time.

Most prices haven't really risen in Japan for a long time. Housing is cheap, food is cheap. So there isn't really any incentive for companies to increase salaries. That will change when inflation starts to pick up as people will be more inclined to find better paying jobs.

People work longer for less. In Japan there is a culture of sa-bisu zangyou. People especially in small business / "black" companies, subsidiaries of larger companies are put under pressure to reduce cost and meet aggressive deadlines which leads to a culture of people staying late in the office and not getting paid for it. Bonuses are promised but often not delivered and people are just expected to suck it up and take one for the team.

Time Theft… truly criminal.

Yuppies can’t afford the cost nor the time to have children.

Les raisins de la colère.. Rappelons nous en

Thanks for doing this Max. Original, interesting, high signal work. 1000x better and more insight than the entire mainstream media's coverage of Japan.

Thanks for your inspiration on this🤝

Definitely worth the watch. Congrats!

素晴らしい動画をありがとう。日本の窮状が正確に分析されていると思いました。

全ては個人の自立の軽視し、政府の肥大化を許したことから始まりました。外国の皆さん、気をつけてください。

Well done. 👏👏

Danke brudi

Watched it and shared with friends. Nice work. Really good to see genuine people going around thr world reporting on the actual state of affairs.

Great doc. I had no idea what was actually going on in Japan.

Really good one! Keep up the good work! Gonna share this with a lot of people

That's really sad. I have also always seen Japan as one of the most sucessful country in the world, and I always wanted to visit it once. But in the last few ye ars I realized that things are not going well there.

This year I will finially be able to visit it, shortly on the side of a business trip. I'm still very excited but I realize that it's not the Japan I imagined when I was younger, or at least not anymore.

Do you know if Bitcoin is popular there? Will I be able to spend some in touristic area? (I will be mostly in Osaka).

Spending BTC is basically non existant in Japan. But touristy spots etc are still booming. Still very much enjoyable for tourists.

What do you mean by "but touristy spots etc"?

If you mean that it's still a nice place for tourism, obviously it is, but many small shops, bar like the retro games bar and video games arcades closed down or changed drastically since 10-15 years. Not only due to the economy but when economy is tough, it's only the most profitable business that stay alive and they are not necessarly the most interesting ones.

Look at these arcades games full of UFO catcher and other gambling-like machines. Boring as fuck but extremly profitable apparently.

I think it's not be because I'm living in Japan but did your video oversimplify about what governmental debt and the recession in Japan are?

For example, Japan's governmental debt does not contain whatever money unlike other countries with huge debts.

The birth rate was already extremely low even when Japan was in the era of desolation. To me the conclusion was falsely derived because of it.

Yes Japan has a current account surplus (exports more value than imports), so the large debt isn't as much as a problem like in the US. The gov is still basically bankrupt though, and the cheap yen / rushing prices are putting a lot of strain on poorer people. So people don't start families, making the debt problem worse (due to having to support an aging population with pensions, health care, etc.)

Masterpiece 👍perfectly on point what happened to Japan. Fiat ruins every Thing #Bitcoin is hope.

Dude, you honestly have the worst way of extract the essence of a video in a few words that i have ever seen. I noticed that in a different documentary that i think you produced. @how japan became the poorest country in the world?" what does that even mean? You are just talking nonesense, honestly. All for the purpose of turning Bitcoin into some kind of savior or what? I think US has done enough evil to that land, stop writing the narrative for them and framing the picture. I doubt US has the education or insight to comprehend how rich these people are.

You call these people poor? Do you even have the slightest idea what richness means? Is it measured in money? Poor you, then.

Epic video, 🙏🏻 thank you
