If one country makes bitcoin illegal, it makes countries where it's legal even more appealing to those who hold bitcoin. And people holding bitcoin are exactly the type of people those countries will welcome as immigrants. The EU will lose value-contributing citizens and will die even faster.

If one chooses to stay in a country that is clearly being unethical, and chooses to keep paying taxes, it's almost as if it's approval of those dirty "ethics". One staying in the country would either have to use non sanctioned markets/shops that accept bitcoin with non-kyc bitcoin, or continue paying taxes until you die.

The EU is forcing its best people to leave.

Everyone always talking about how they don't want to spend so much time in front of a computer... I absolutely love my time in front of the computer. I love trying to build new things and solve coding issues and gain skills.

I've been like this since I was a kid.. and it's exacerbated now that I have less time to do it (apart from the fiat job).

I do also love outdoors and the sun and snow and beach and time with my family... But with fiat work being the only concentrated computer time, I feel deprived! Haha

Human age should be measured from conception day not birth day. Birth day is pretty arbitrary. Some kids are born prematurely or late, but whether they were in utero or not they would still grow - though maybe there is a difference in how much.

That is such a good line.

The really sucky thing about using AI is that you can’t verify what is giving you responses. You cannot trust it.

They can tell you the base model, but you have to believe them; and even if they could prove it, most #LLM providers are running orchestration layers on top of the #AI feeding it other data and allowing the AI to fetch its own (by proxy) external data. So there’s no telling where it builds its response from.

The safest would be to self host. You cannot trust it verify the base models you have. And then you can run your own tooling/orchestration on the model.

For now we don’t have better solution, so we just need to be cautious.

But that seems like the only sane and safe future for me.

Yeah it’s real, but it’s not a good idea. That’s why rugpulls etc are possible. It’s not really decentralized and not trustless.
