Stopped drinking 💯 for three weeks. After decades of nightcaps. No real plan for endpoint or eternity. But so far, I am very happy with this decision and want to see the effects after a prolonged period. I am in the gym 4 days a week, so that is an interesting benchmark.
I love learning about global economic macros. I am still a newb, but I can say this for 💯 certainty. The world is entering a new period where the fiat money experiment is coming to a crashing and violent end. It is so top heavy, and unsustainable that it’s embarrassing for global financial leaders. But they pretend they can control it and bring a “soft landing”. The can will continue to get kicked down the road, but it will finally implode. If you have not started buying Bitcoin as a hedge against this (and the horror of a future CBDC), take a very low risk position and start buying some today. Then do a deep dive on the gazillion podcasts, books and articles about Bitcoin. This is “that moment” in your life.
If people don’t understand the fundamental difference between Bitcoin and everything else, then they are doing a disservice to themselves. I think everyone should have the right to buy Alts if they choose, but to put them in the same category as Bitcoin is a huge mistake. And maximalists are doing many people a favor, if they just listen and learn.
