Balaji is following a product launch 🚀 strategy pretty well for his bet.
P.A.T. is the launch 🚀 strategy I’m most familiar with to explain.
P = problem
Present clearly to the potential customer the issue in the clearest and most concise way possible.
A = agitate
Once you’ve elevated the core problem in the potential customers mind’s eye you stoke the fire of why it’s such an issue. Especially one worth paying attention to and ultimately paying to solve.
T = teach / solve / sell
You then present (most of the time your new product you’re selling) the solution to solve this problem.
#[1] recently mentioned his take that Balaji’s bet was an attempt to “wash his hands” from most of the eth stuff he’s been promoting. This then allows him to come back to #bitcoin as THE solution.
I tend to agree and see the initial bet and all the podcast promotion in particular that he did, as his attention grabber / audience builder which is the first step before any of the P.A.T. Steps can even be successfully started.
He’s coming out strong with “the problem” and will be interesting to watch as he shifts to further along the launch 🚀 strategy, and I’m sure he’s timing the peak of the next bull run as when he can showcase his “solution.”
Really hard to take #Balaji serious though as the self-less and humble knight riding in to save the day 🤣
