Through a twist of fate, we've combined forces with Awake Earth Festival to bring a different type of event to the #Bitcoin conference space. We're combining a music festival with Bitcoin workshops & talks.
Feb 20-23 there will be some Bitcoin activities but will primarily focus on music with internationally recognized artists, healing workshops and ceremonies, educational talks & engaging conversations.
Feb 24 is a full on Bitcoin day where the entire venue will be focused on Bitcoin.
Our goal with this partnership is to attract new faces into the Bitcoin space and bring people that would normally not attend a traditional Bitcoin conference.
The venue, Awake, is the same as last year (and Nostrica before that). This time, they've invested a ton of sats into improving the infrastructure and grounds. It's more beautiful than ever.

Hey everyone,
I've been staying in Auckland, NZ for the past 5 months or so and while it is a lovely city and has treated me well, then anybody who knows me personally knows also that at heart, I'm a country boy and a child of nature and as such, it is time to go out exploring the rest of the country.
The plan is to be road tripping around NZ for the next 5-7 months, with potential longer stays in places I enjoy. I'll probably try to split it somewhat evenly between the islands so 2-4 months each. That's the initial idea at least, not a plan.
What I would also very much like to do is connect with other nostriches and bitcoiners along the way. It can sometimes be quite difficult to connect with people who are stuck in the fiat matrix and seem to discount both their own abilities as well as all the beauty and potential that exists in the world.
So, before I dive deep into the selection of hostels, AirBnB's, share houses, baches and campgrounds, I was wondering if on nostr had any accommodation to offer (or know anyone that does) - it can be either from 1-2 nights up to a couple of weeks or even 1-2 months - as I said, I don't really have a set plan. It would be awesome if there was a desk and/or WiFi available as I'm combining work+travel, but for shorter periods these are not essential. I am also open for any offers from sleeping on the couch to renting a room to pitching up a tent in your backyard! In addition, I also would not mind working for accommodation (up to 20h/week) - on that note, has anybody done WWOOFing in NZ? If yes, what have been your experiences?

Such a combination is a godsend for anybody like me who likes to combine work and play - and unfortunately, not many such places exist. We have just taken out a mortgage for a new build house, simultaneously we hodled 10% of the mortgage value in #bitcoin. This stack will be used to pay off the mortgage in 10 years time if we choose to. Within 5 years #bitcoin will be used for all mortgages and pensions. around the globe.
