Came back to give Nostr another go after all the buzz at BTC Miami and I have to say getting first zap was much more enjoyable than I had anticipated!

Now I need to try to wrap my head around what Relays are.

90% convinced accounting should be a programming role. Accumulating data from multiple sources into your chart of accounts almost always requires code of some kind. I’m guessing this is never done properly and accounts are just inaccurate because of this.

With ledger-cli + sql and parsing zap data I can have very accurate balance sheet of zap donations, total zaps broken down by posts, merch sales, even cln routing fees earned, sats lost due to channel close fees, etc. couldn’t have done it without code.

Here is what I envision for a nostr-email client:

- Write on Nostr - publish to nostr

- Ability to build a mailing list from the web interface (think simple email collection form)

- Option to email your mailing list at the time of publishing

- Ability to onboard users into a nostr client from email (user reacts -> asked to sign up)

- Web interface for your content specifically and the ability to manage your email list.

- Zap and or Stripe payment integration. I think users should be able to choose.
