Hey #nostr! I’m wanting to write long form on #habla.news and the articles I see displayed all have an image identifying the publication. But I can’t seem to do that myself. There’s a section to ‘link an image’ but that hasn’t worked out when I’ve applied links to images.

Any help? what am i missing

It seems like btc is their only way out so I was banking on desperation to drive them. But do they have the fortitude to do it ?

I’ve seen some of their private sector jump onto bitcoin which is promising

I’m not sure if a government can ever be decentralised- I’m unsure how that would even work. Because there are things that require centralisation- and are simply better for it. However I think that if there’s strong transparency and strong accountability- then that would put the power back to the people and effectively make it more decentralised in the form of where the power lies.

What are your thought ?

Fb marketplace network effect is too strong at this stage. Advertising will continue to drive the supply and demand on those types of platforms. I don’t think nostr could compete 🤷‍♂️

So the interesting thing is that even if a nation like El Salvador adopts it it won’t make them a super power. They’re just too small. A lot of African countries will do it very well and significantly improve their nations wealth.

But out of the top 10 nations currently by GDP.

my money would be America, china, Russia, India, and Japan as the top 5 nations to successfully adopt it.
