yeah, I used early RSS publishers that would crosspost and it would always degrade the experience and probably lower my viewcount.

much better to keep original thoughts and posts on nostr, which has way more interoperability and reach

it's actually pretty well researched. A lot of scammers on top of scammers in the story, but it reveals to what length government agents were willing to go to even try to lock up doxxed crypto "founders". It proves why Satoshi never being revealed is vital

anyone have any comments yet on James O'Keefe's "ETHgate" doc? All about the early "founders" of ETH

Keep in mind James started accepting Bitcoin for his work back in 2016 or so

any folks here going to the Oslo Freedom Forum for the financial freedom track?

I went to OFF back in 2013-2015, but way before Bitcoin was a theme. Met some awesome people

Bitcoin doesn't need POSITIVE rights policy.

Bitcoin has NEGATIVE rights recognition.

Bitcoin is code. Using computers, running nodes, batching transactions, signing with private and public keys doesn't need extra "rights".

"freedom from" not "freedom to"

ah, I need to publish to the damus relay

Another South Dakota “nomad” resident onboarded this week.

IMHO, the best privacy-preserving residency program that caters to digital nomads, privacy folks, and expats

Enshrined in SD law for RV people, but used by many more to be domiciled in a low-tax, full-freedom state that protects your privacy.

Extreme Privacy (Bazzell) approved.

testing damus as my notes aren’t posting

testing nostr:npub1yfg0d955c2jrj2080ew7pa4xrtj7x7s7umt28wh0zurwmxgpyj9shwv6vg's new app in TestFlight!

awesome to be able to directly support music artists w/ zaps and lightning payments ⚡️

check out Late Night Special if y’all haven’t already

XZ Utils backdoor story is a big lesson for those of us who like + actively use FOSS (wittingly or not)

the FOSS trade-off is that we can't all examine + inspect code. We rely on good developers to spot these things.

support devs!

Have you been a victim of anti-VPN discrimination today?

yeah I also use this, but it’s very buggy. Would love to run on my own, but the previous RasPi experience was terrible (rock64 boards are pricey were I live).

I see no need to buy the Tanto if I could otherwise run it on some other Linux server or miniPC, but the one or two sources I’ve seen for this on GitHub require such complex set-ups and hard drive partitions that it’s over my head

it seems many do not read and buy into bad headlines. lol nostr does not “fix this”

has anyone had success in dockerizing Ronin Dojo?

How much should liberal democratic countries decouple from China, if at all?
