The car of my childhood. Every cousin had one. It was an adventure to sit in those tiny cars without a seatbelt.
Where is the problem? The ones that are working hard to earn good money live on the left side, the ones that don't work hard for good money life on the right. But no one on any side would be robbed by taxes they not straightly committed to by signing a contract which regulates all duties the recipient of the taxes has to take care of.
Yet you think that having a system that steals from us and forces all of us to live in the right area is good for us. Don't be so naive.
You really think that taxes of the working class are used to finance society? Haha. Just look at the numbers. They steal from us with taxes and with inflation and want us the believe that our taxes are used for society.

You basically sing a song and get some candies. Teens and adults get drunker at every house.
I understand the joy for kids but don't like it as it has nothing to do with for example regional traditions. And we have a lot of them here. It's just a another "point of turnover" for retailers
