This month, Belgian parliament is opening a "debate" on crypto.

The FUD based arguments are downright stupid.

The proposals being put forth in the Belgian parliament for a "crypto law" are heavily based on (FUD). It would be interesting to see authentic Bitcoin enthusiasts contribute to the discussion. Overall, these proposals seem to align with the illogical position taken by the central bank of the Netherlands, including the erroneous "per transaction" argument made by A. De Vries.

Boek over bitcoin aan't schrijven. En ik zal het wrs gewoon puur op nostr releasen. Epub to sats/zap.

Imagine those Candian truck-protesters having Nostr.

Hey Belgian bitcoiners, ... Follow me pls, I'll follow back of course.

Mastodon had a nice try, but the federated principle is not ideal ... it's something different than twitter, and not as good and useful as nostr.

This will become my home now I guess.

http://iris.to is great and solid

Just tried it, it's by far the best experience on nostr.

Trying iris.to as a nostr client... looks great!

Finally got the LN adresses and NIP-05 working. - wasn't that hard, just >10 min. time and you're done.

Zap me, I want to see it work.

For Dutch speakers, I had a 90 min. chat with a traditional investor on my Bitcoin podcast. We talked about Belgian stocks, risk, bitcoin and the media knowledge-gap. https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkLnBvZGJlYW4uY29tL2FsbGVzdm9vcmJpdGNvaW4vZmVlZC54bWw/episode/YWxsZXN2b29yYml0Y29pbi5wb2RiZWFuLmNvbS8yOTU0NzQ4Yi05NWFlLTNjNmYtYmI2Ny01OGMzM2IzNmEzZTk?ep=14

Confirmed. I use Snort as my mobile app on Android now. I use the Kiwi browser with the nos2x extension. I then have https://snort.social set as a shortcut. It honestly feels like an app in some regards when using it this way since it has its own app icon. It would be nice if notifications worked, but they do not.

The Amethyst, Nosteros, and Nostrid apps are the farthest along in Android native apps, but none are better than what I'm using now and not ready to replace my setup. I'd say that Amethyst has the most promise here based on features and UI.

I post a weekly Android app update. Though I may post another one in a few days if apps keep improving quickly.

Thanks for the tip, seems to work very well.
