The part about fraud: https://github.com/Podcastindex-org/ulid?tab=readme-ov-file#a-note-about-fraud
It’s not meant to be fraud immune. That’s not possible with any internet traffic tech. That’s not the problem it’s trying to solve.

Oh that gives me an idea. đź’ˇ
We could change it so the mp3 lives at for example tracker.podtoo.com/(LISTENERID)/URLTOPOD.
Thats solves everything

Also #YouTube podcast sucks too, as they don’t take the RSS feed.

Adam - am just wondering what players support the IPFS by default and what is their market share. Oh and how are we able to track plays if we support this format?

What players support this by default? I could see it helping reduce cost for hosting providers but it depends on how many players support it and support it by default. Sometimes seems we support things and they don’t take off which means it’s just a cost that we take on to be cool.
nostr:npub1kf7a2q5ma5myv2hmrvgfdu4waqv33xxecsp57m68xwuqgl4qxj8s5r0gax technically podcast hosting providers could offer a Podcast2.0 alternative call it podcast:logo and have inside that different size logos
I think and please someone correct me if I am wrong, but Podcast:image could handle this.
