I think it does. Because if we know Hamas explicitly targeted the civilian population:

1) seems foolish to play straight into the western idea that they are terrorists

2) then a grassroots organization in the US has potentially taken the side of a group that has committed an act of terror rather than attempt to liberate themselves. Because let’s be honest people like to conflate Hamas with the average Palestinian, because distinctions don’t matter to people for some reason.

Also to your first point: I’d like first hand evidence it isn’t a psyop, before I even begin to imagine it isn’t. Humans kills humans every day, the only surprising thing about this is the timing.

Bad all bad. Israel is preparing for an assault into Gaza. Almost 1,00 dead on either side. US is sending a strike force and arms to the regions. There have been calls for a drive of the Gaza Strip. The wider Arab world has basically said “You have only yourself to blame” at Israel AFAIK
