"Global" problems require "global" "coordinated" responses to deal with "ze polycrisis"
Same shit they just did up in Canada with the fires. Totally fabricated arson for the narrative.
Oh the "time traveler" guy.. yeah he's cool. Good guy. He'll be great. Fuck bankers.

Well said. The Truth is important, we must follow it and seek it, wherever it leads. Even when it's painful to some.
#BTC
The anti-cantillion;
Where the Physical turns Intangible.
Divine digital physics, divine order;
#Bitcoin
A Supermassive Black Hole,
feeding off dying fiat currencies,
like dead worlds in cyberspace,
that have thus distorted our perspectives,
like bent light or a stigmatism.
Satoshi, the optimistic anonymous economist optometrist!
Further down the Wormhole we speed.
What's ahead - unknown, beautiful, novel..
#Bitcoin's density is increasing.
Even the largest Black Rock
cannot escape the zen of its tug.

This is pretty sick, ngl. I don't even like horses
Election Fraud / Election Integrity is the most crucial thing that needs to be addressed immediately before the next banana election starts violence or chaos. We must have faith in the integrity of even this small part of the country's functioning, otherwise the entire thing is a *TOTALLY* and irredeemably corrupt sham that needs to be destroyed.
I have a terrible feeling it will all go poorly though.. nothing is being done. The 2022 election had even more clever tricks to rig it.
How do we compete legitimately against a Democrat Party who spends hundreds of millions of dollars, 24/7 with teams who specialize in scheming up ways to game elections through all avenues, and have unlimited resources and legal cover to do so?
Really disappointed in the direction the actual magazine has gone. The latest issue barely even mentioned Bitcoin or had any Bitcoin stories. It's all politics, Julian Assange stuff, a story in Luke Rudkiwski, gatekeepers, politic propaganda + pushing for DC Statehood, and then over half the total pages are just glossy pictures from their Bitcoin conference, followed by pages of ads telling me to gamble my sats on a betting market, take loans, check out BitMex, and more Bitcoin conference ads...
There was one good story from Alex Gladstein on how banks use 'fnancial aid' as a weapon, but that's only tangentially related to Bitcoin.
It's more of a confused Left-of-Center wannabe Libertarian magazine with an interest in electronics. Lol why do they do this?
LocalMonero off F-Droid is fucking awesome. Strong tool for human rights. Amazing infrastructure for no-KYC marketplace. Shocked I haven't tried it yet, Lightning is supported too.
A way to send or swap #bitcoin zaps for #monero zaps on a simple orderbook relay would be neat
Pleb pools must grow stronger and more scattered.
I like Monero. I use it for things. I don't hold it or invest in it. Bitcoin privacy techniques are worthwhile, and I do them, but they are costly, slow (in the world of Whirlpool) and not bulletproof. I'm a world of extremely high on-chain fees, impossible and not feasible.
The need for privacy can be life or death. Freedom or enslavement. Monero is a better choice, hands down, for dark transactions. Why is this remotely controversial? XMR is just a digital vehicle to privately shuffle some amount of value around. If it was $1, it would still be just as useful. It is the only altcoin worth respecting for it's usefulness, worthwhile existence, and innovation.
Bitcoin needs a layer for encrypted transactions, but until then, I view Monero as an off-chain privacy payment rail for Bitcoin's value. Swapping between them is crucially important for now. Thank you Samourai Wallet!
Give yur balls a tug
Oh man that looks so awesome! Epic taco dish with those good, real beans and tortillas.. always will be my favorite.
Hey what's up, welcome! I'll follow you man 🤙 I'm a Bitcoin, Nostr, FOSS, Lightning, and privacy nerd.
Hello and welcome 🫡 right place, right time in history. Nostr is exciting.
"Starting August 7th, advertisers that haven’t reached certain spending thresholds will lose their official brand account verification." 🤣
You pay for the brand verification and then if you don't also buy enough ads, you lose it. 🤡

What a joke... such an abusive relationship can only happen in a centralized, controlled environment like Big Tech platforms.
Being in such a free state as Nostr and enjoying the bountiful liberties it affords us while trying to open the eyes of billions still stuck in the Big Tech gulag systems reminds me of what we're doing to the people in North Korea, trying to break their brainwashing, exposing them to information, bringing them out of Plato's cave into the light with facts, truth, and information.
I have visions of a future Exodus event from major platforms to Nostr.. it just takes the right catalyst and situation to break the camel's back for many..
Hopefully greed will win - knowing you can get paid in bitcoin for your social media posts is a pretty novel idea... just takes time.
Best answer re a potential Blackrock #bitcoin ETF IMHO by nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx 🎯

Taking away the career-risk of advisors to talk seriously again about Bitcoin is good, it's becoming more legitimate in the eyes of the motherfuckers who've run this world so poorly and selfishly. Perhaps some deep pockets out there will take a harder look at bitcoin with Fink confirming that BTC is here to stay for the long term.
If someone wanted to plow a few billion dollars into bitcoin and have mandates that it must be in a security and not the underlying BTC directly, then this is a good vehicle for those institutions, I guess.... still, it's a shitty replacement for the real deal, and I suspect once the accounting rules are changed around bitcoin, there will be more companies and institutions buying direct BTC instead.. the risk is just too great for rug pulls.
Nothing can compare to the security guarantees of running your own node(s), holding your own private keys in MultiSig, and holding long term. Having an IOU from BlackRock is dogshit, but it might be beneficial in the short term interim period we're going through towards a bitcoin world.
That said, fully expect the usual bullshit scammy fiat games to be played with this ETF...
In a future where machines make payments to other machines, it would need to be in a currency that's unstoppable and verifiable, and occurring over a 'identity' platform that is unstoppable and verifiable, like Nostr.
Orange and Purple pills go together. The future will be freedom oriented, no middlemen, no censorship, no black-box hidden code, or humans meddling in the operation of the network. Nostr is the only thing capable of being the neutral backbone of a network for unstoppable payments and identity/accounts. Can't have political bias/Parties/deep state involved and actively intervening if our economy will be including machine to machine payments.
