While some of the ideas mentioned would be expected, hardcoded, configurations that any “decent” nostr social media client should provide out of the box (bot filtering sensitivity, popular note themes from last week based on who I follow)
No humans required, except of course for:
- all the content being scraped and aggregated is human produced
- the web crawler would be built and maintained and promoted by a human
- the AI (SLM or LLM) used for distilling the gigantic volumes of information is built and maintained by large teams of humans
Not disparaging the idea of a Nostr friendly news aggregator, just mindful of the “no humans required” bit 😉
Cars are not great financial investments 👍🏻
However, there is great utility in driving a car. It gets you and your family more experiences. It takes you places you otherwise wouldn’t be able to go/see. It keeps you safe, dry, warm, and entertained while you get there. It’s a place where core memories can be made.
So while I may have spent $55k on a car over a 5 year period, I don’t regret it for 1 minute and am thankful I was able to use cheap depreciating fiat to do it.

June 2023 I quested to El Salvador with a close friend for 7 days.
When he left, I ended up staying an additional 4 days with 5 new friends I had met while being there.
5/5 still connected in a close way with these amazing friends.
