What/who is Dan and why is Nostr full of them?

But Calle didn't you hear? We already won.

nostr:npub15c88nc8d44gsp4658dnfu5fahswzzu8gaxm5lkuwjud068swdqfspxssvx can you share your thoughts about this tweet from mononautical?:

A single custodian now controls the coinbase addresses of at least 9 pools, representing 47% of total hashrate.

As demonstrated by this consolidation of mining reward outputs from AntPool, F2Pool, Binance Pool, Braiins, btccom, SECPOOL and Poolin:

I'm on holiday so will keep it brief. Any centralization = increased weakenss

Yes, they can change where coinbase payouts go quickly, but in an adversarial environment a single custodian could ve forced to make life very very difficult for a large proportion of the network. The third order effects of such a scenario could last for quite some time.
