I find myself thinking about my current career daily. If my current job will exist in 2 years…if I should make a change now to find something more purposeful…if I should head the entrepreneurial route. I feel like I’m at a crossroads. I have a young family and currently the sole income provider. I feel a bit stuck but there has to be more to my working life than what I am doing right now. Hopefully 2026 will bring more clarity.

Parenting is one of the hardest and most rewarding things I have ever done. The lows can be very low, the highs very high. It’s an immense responsibility and I don’t want to let my kids down.

We might be the only complex life in the universe 😳

Even if my issue is a unique one, this isn’t good enough. Mass adoption only happens when the edge cases are accounted for.

My Alby node keeps going down and I have to switch my nostr wallet to a custodial wallet over and over.

Realistically, I could spend the time to figure out what’s wrong (and will) but most people are far too lazy and will give up at the first sight of trouble.

As a bitcoin nerd, I will put in the time and effort to manage an Alby Hub Lightning node.

But unless it gets more user-friendly, few others are going to to through this effort.

It’s just Sunday and it’ll go lower.
