My dad has this old saying which basically translates to “do the work now so the future is easier, because time passes no matter what.” I think about that often, when I want to tap out just because it’s hard.

I talked to some people from Argentina a few months ago and they were all negative. Good people but it was all doom and gloom.
As American’s we definitely are spoiled. Very lucky to live in the best country. Every country has its charm and I’m sure is beautiful in its own way but America, even with its flaws, is heads and shoulders above all other countries.
Plot twist: This is his brilliantly executed “I lost my keys in a boating accident” scheme to make everyone believe the bitcoin is gone. Then, he moves to Dubai and lives happily ever after, tax-free.
I’d watch that movie. Let’s write the script. Any writers or Hollywood folks available?

Luckily, I don’t suffer from any dietary issues (allergies, gut problems, etc.).
I’ve eaten terribly for periods of time, very cleanly for other periods, and have been on #carnivore for over a year now.
Honestly, I feel the same physically either way. I don’t notice much difference in mental clarity either - sleep matters more in that department for me.
That said, I prefer carnivore because I enjoy it, which makes it easier to stick to. It doesn’t feel like I’m sacrificing much at all. The only thing I miss is potatoes (baked or fries).
The main difference I notice is when I overeat. With carnivore, I don’t feel the bloat or disgust afterward like I do with other diets. If I eat normally, I feel about the same. However, no matter the diet, I definitely feel more bloated if I eat bread (though sourdough affects me much less, if at all).
Yes, it’s not ultra-strict carnivore. I still drink coffee and use small amounts of erythritol to sweeten coffee and homemade ice cream (just eggs and heavy cream). It is what it is.
