AGI abundance is hyper-deflation

Hyper-deflation will threaten default to all countries with large debts (all of them)

They will counteract by printing money and inflating the debt away

In doing so, they will debase their money until hyper-inflation, forcing a global shift to sound (scarce) money, which cannot be printed

This will make (inflationary) government issued UBI impossible because they can no longer create more money from thin air.

No... the handout of the future is deflation: AGI relentlessly creating all things for less each year, allowing prices to fall forever because each unit of scarce money can buy more.

People must earn this scarce money, but owning even a tiny amount will cover basic needs, and the longer you save it the better your life gets.

There will not be equality. There is no such thing in the universe.

There will be "haves" with enormous wealth just like today, but the difference is there will be no "have-nots".

The people with the least will live free in a fair system with an AGI cheat code of infinite productivity making their lives easier each day, because their money buys more.

Centrally issued UBI is a system of pro-rata dilution that hurts the poor and the rich (but the rich less so), which widens the gap between the two.

Universal Basic *Ownership* via scarce money, is a system of pro-rata concentration, which lifts everyone equally, and promises a better future for all.

Universal Basic Income is already here but it's earned and held, not issued by governments and it's appreciating 1/1 with the productivity of AI. ₿asic.

My girls needed a bedtime story with some real teeth

There once was a city that had a special nuclear reactor of buying power called "AI" that grew its wattage by 5% each year. Residents were so proud of their creation!

But little did they know, households were getting 7% less power than they had the year before.

At first, no one noticed because the cities' entrepreneurs were inventing shiny new things that made life more fun and exciting. Things you couldn't imagine in years past!

But after a while, everyone started realizing that life as a whole was getting harder. Something felt "off". It just didn't make sense.

A group of midnight meter bandits had been siphoning off 12% of folks' power while the town slept.

People knew they had less power, but these bandits had invisibility cloaks and no one could prove what was happening.

So they just went on with their lives.

Then one day, on a hunch, someone invented a new meter called "Bitcoin" that bandits couldn't drain.

His life started getting easier and everyone started to notice.

Gradually others followed, and their lives got easier too. Then, almost all at once, everyone installed the new meters.

For AI, it was business as usual. It was even growing its power faster now!

The people's lives were now 6% easier than they were the year before, not 7% harder. A 13% swing!

People could breathe, they were nicer to eachother, gave more to others, and could spend more time with their families and people they loved.

Without Bitcoin, AI couldn't make people's lives better because those f*cking bandits would always steal it.

Without AI, Bitcoin wouldn't have any power at all!

They were useless apart, but perfect together.

The most important combination in all of history.

I feel for folks stuck in the rat race. Everyone they've surrounded themselves with is as miserable as they are, so they're all blind to the misery of it.

Without Satoshi, we wouldn’t have AI.

The computing power/GPUs developed for Bitcoin mining gave us the horsepower needed to develop and train today’s AI models.

AI is the engine of limitless productivity. Bitcoin is the absolutely limited, infinite capacity battery to absorb it.

A divine, two-sided gift that benefits everyone who understands.

Two sides of the same coin, minted from satoshi. ☯️

Venture Capital should always be first to understand new technologies that shift paradigms. But bc we can't justify taking a management fee or carry on Bitcoin, our industry will ironically be the last.
