As far as guides: If you have an old Dell lying around you could install EmbassyOS on it to run a Bitcoin/Lightning node pretty easily: https://docs.start9.com/latest/diy/diy-x86#flash-and-install-embassyos

Another easy option would be to install Ubuntu or Debian on that Dell and then install Umbrel by running the command on their website in the “install on anything that runs Linux” section: https://umbrel.com/#start

Important note though: you’ll need at least a TB of disk space to store the blockchain, so you might need a new drive on that Dell. 1TB SSDs are pretty cheap these days.

Thanks for the sats, fren ⚡️🤝⚡️

But is there an expectation that tokens from an ecash mint increase in value? In cashu and fedimint the tokens just represent abstractions of sats that have been deposited in the mint. Their value isn’t expected/intended to move independent of bitcoin.

If they did, maybe the best analog for cashu tokens would be an in-game currency or something like that?

Information like this could cause a lot of grief for ordinals users if too many people found out so it’s bes— *smashes repost button* nostr:note1wj7a0yp8rfslxhdcvs3u2zknpe6xch9gnetygve8mj0eeuyvysxspn87h4

Just crossed 200 followers, at least according to the relays I subscribe to. I’ve been on Nostr for 2 months.

It took me 4 years to get that many followers on the bird app, and that was only after I started shilling NFTs 😂

Nostr is wild

If I recall correctly you need to right click on the extension’s icon, then click “options” and it’ll open a settings page in a new tab.
