nostr:npub14sluuxctq5q23z2ncecplwtpzpjvdtgllntzwezv2djzge45wcvs6ygfma yep. It's a kind of magical thing to share a moment with something with such a wildly different reality than your own.

nostr:npub1yk67q98wp2s8asr3pdvkmdmmh3x4566fz55m5rlvwsu0dj62s72q804zz4 - we apparently not only share a critter appreciation, but have the same doormat. πŸ™‚

nostr:npub1jz9m8auzff2utwf4s2l060uwdfm2vwnc83d3u59sdln5kvq06maseg9wsq it's my dad's but it's a good doormat 😊

Made a chipmunk friend* today. He was just chilling out about 3 feet away from me, figuring out whether I was going to make a move on him or whether he could just finish up his chipmunk business

* I have no idea whether he considered me a friend. Probably not. But I like to believe in my heart we had a shared moment and that he was my little buddy.

nostr:npub16ez0xvwm8gdpspuwqmrn999ecgssqufta4j0609cqr8r2lufy3pq9eg7vp thanks! I'm feeling a bit better and the dog is almost there. Another day or three and he'll be healed up. It's a relief to see it

Holy crap! πŸ˜³πŸ˜– That would be terrifying. Pittsburgh has some of the weirdest intersections and street configurations I’ve ever seen. My childhood was terrifying in a car.

nostr:npub1pe9rq3lukz8z0sq6rqjfvv5y35hftfmwck8mqnxujcxz0pv4mztsrccye6 I always say the way Pittsburgh became a city is from all the people who got lost and said "ah, hell with it, guess I live here now"

nostr:npub1xvwvhxc577leeyx9htpu6p5uvnyxlz6cappaehy362rxg6cq0z6st2watv it really was. I could have reached my arm out of my window and got my hand mangled on it

nostr:npub1yk67q98wp2s8asr3pdvkmdmmh3x4566fz55m5rlvwsu0dj62s72q804zz4 Street running trains are very cool and mildly terrifying. I've never been around one in person.

nostr:npub10e5uvssvpmh7swzsg03ty8srg6gufrdq8f592ye7yqq532lsz7eqmrv9tg yeah, it definitely is nice to know you're in the area where one is beforehand. I would guess, at least

Just looking through old photos & remembering when I was out shooting in western PA with my wife. Finished for the day & was leaving town when a torrential downpour started. Turned onto a narrow residential street lined with homes and parked cars and barely made out an odd, single headlight higher than any car approaching us. Squeezed into a parking spot just in time to miss being plastered by a train. The tracks ran right down the middle of the street and the warning signs were out. Good times
