I don't care what you think of me, only how you came to think it.

I don't know anything about that, except that Nostr doesn't use WebRTC.

My lucky number is too large to be uploaded to the internet.

Er, yes, I know that there are celibate gays, and even homosexual people who have long term relationships with the opposite sex. Gay people have a choice. And what I was trying to say in my original comment is that I wouldn't care about gay people's choices if I didn't believe that gay lives matter.

Of course. Homosexual activity wouldn't be nearly as sad and unfortunate if gay lives didn't matter.

If someone makes a statement you can easily determine is false, then that's just sarcasm or a joke. However, if they make a statement that you can't determine is true, then that is condescending, manipulative, and telling you what to think.

Holding yourself to only making statements someone can determine the truth of is a higher standard than just not lying.

Is that just your opinion then? Or would you be willing to argue with others about whether it's good for people to mute users who post unpleasant or negative things?

How do you fond yourself wasting time? How much time do you find yourself wasting?

And what exactly is so torturous? Seeing what people believe? Seeing things you can't yet articualate a response to? Seeing the 100th #gnostr post why isn't the keyword blacklist working dang it this sucks?

No government has ever worked, and so it is absurd to think someone would ever agree a real life government is an ideal example of their personal ideology. It wasn't real Communism and it wasn't real Capitalism.

There is no shame in these claims. All governments thus far have left something to be desired; they left a gap. That's how political ideologies are able to continue to exist. That's why these conversations are so engaging.

Don't spend too much time looking up your own examples and reading the thoughts of people you will never meet. Instead, use some of that time to debate political ideology based on your own ideas, and the ideas of the people you argue with. It may be discussion "on paper", but at least you would be talking directly with the person rather than partaking in a proxy conversation.
