I mean, it's not as if the baby is responsible for the rape. Giving out the death penalty to essentially a bystander is pretty messed up. If I was pregnant I could never in good conscience get an abortion. And even if I sufferred after that decision, I would never deserve it.

I don't respect Freud, but I do believe that responsibility is underrated. Most of the injustices people get upset about could have been avoided by being responsible. That's why whenever someone asks me to give up responsibility, very loud alarm bells go off in my head.
