I see everything and I would have already told this manager to respond! For example I saw nostr:npub1gdu7w6l6w65qhrdeaf6eyywepwe7v7ezqtugsrxy7hl7ypjsvxksd76nak responded to nostr:npub1ss8x0v3fe6s43krphru4vax9u9xgwcd63m4lqq88sxmre958fhcqnvse5l and I reminded her to write back to him along with others that commented on her post, so she started responding and then her phone died 🤦♀️ and that was that… She still has not responded to his second comment and if there was a manager this manager for sure would have responded by now because they are paid to do that.
I have explained this a million times to others with similar doubts so I am just going to repeat myself and again say, all of my friends do their own social media (no managers; it’s 100% them). It will take some time for them to find a rhythm with Nostr. I’m not sure how familiar you are with IG, but coming here from there is not “smooth”. Not everything works the way we are used to it working so that’s one “issue”.
Another thing is that it’s fashion week so we are all crazy busy and everyone’s phone is constantly on 1% and the girls are less interested in playing on an app when there are so many events going on.
Also quite a few of the girls are having birthdays this month + next month, so we are all busy traveling for everyone’s birthday parties and not thinking about a new app.
As for them bringing followers, it takes time for me to even convince them that Nostr is “safe” and if one of their followers sees the Damus QR code IG story and happens to sign up with one of the Nostr clients (I know one of Julia’s followers joined just from seeing her IG “Prove it, prove it” story) that nothing dangers will happen to them.
The girls all feel quite responsible for their followers and they don’t want to invite them here if it turns out to be something crazy. Maybe to you Nostr has been around and is cool, but for normies that don’t read tech news and are not on twitter, they have literally NEVER heard of it.
But also my reason for bringing friends here is not to get them to bring their followers. I bring them because I have #orangepilled most of them and I think these sat zaps will open their eyes a bit more. Because at the moment I’m the only one giving them sats. We go to lunch, I have them pay, and then I pay them back with sats. Some of them also bought and are just HODLing, but I want them to keep learning. Nevertheless they are not reading everything #bitcoin related everyday like I am and I felt them getting Nostr could help with this. Obviously if they onboard their followers it’s cool, but it’s not my goal. I just happen to be the “tech” support in my friends circle.

As for why I’m bringing “pretty girls” or “influencer” friends, it’s just that is who most of my friends are. Artists have mostly artist friends, athletes have mostly athlete friends, vegans have mostly vegan friends, devs have mostly dev friends…. Pretty girls have mostly pretty friends 🤷♀️
