Which one of you #AUStriches did this?
I bet it was nostr:npub1dmahfent0mtlh8ahhzu0ztslhw470azcyw3n599vvrxfysfg25mqurhrpq
We need this guy on nostr! #farmstr
I'm betting on the 6 first and last characters as a "good enough" trade off. Examples:

Ditching my iPhone. Switching to GrapheneOS.
Also means a shift in design focus towards android and desktop.
#grapheneos
Keep it up tanel!
That full npub though 😹
On nostr you mean?
If not, maaaany companies are jumping on this with their "Unbelievable" AI tools.
Soon they'll be no match for DVM's and GPUtopia though.
A text-to-speech DVM specifically for Bitcoin and AI.
If not nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev, who else?
I still need to explore the UI/UX of this "freely choosing" waaay more.
As nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z pointed out, most users will probably not want to be toggling preferences all day or freely choose much of anything, except where their curiosity leads them.
Integration needs to be fluent: no airplane dashboards of options, no asking permission every 2 seconds, no 10 step process to try something new ...
Luckily they can be guided by the NIP-89 preferences of their trusted peers.
And they can start recognising trusted/known features in new apps. And new features in trusted apps. So the jump to trying something new is never that big.
Podcast & Reader apps will start to overlap more and more with AI enabling you to easily switch from audio to text, and vice versa.
Competing DVM's can keep any app on top of that game, without the builders doing anything other than optimising the UI for a certain niche of users.
Highlighter is a first in many of those apps.
Will do!
Everytime nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft mentions Nostrocket.org on a podcast I get super enthusiastic about it.
Then I check out the UI 🙃

nostr:npub1mygerccwqpzyh9pvp6pv44rskv40zutkfs38t0hqhkvnwlhagp6s3psn5p, you mind if I take a stab at this?
Sometimes I just zap because that's the only way I can efficiently send a private comment to the author of a post.
I went on one of my favorite podcasts last week to trash-talk nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 but we forgot to record that part and ended up talking about other things that probably 6 people will be interested in 😂😂😂

Gotta love listening in on legends getting together and talking about whatever they want 🔥
Exactly! Unprecedented high signal in the feedback loop of curated insights + curated community.
Highlighter is the perfect example of that
Call it Curation 😉
Everything is an algorithm.
Cool!
You put the "You will not believe" typo in there for clickbait right?
Haha yop, exactly why filtering on a hashtag is not refined enough imo.
Customisation goes way beyond that luckily nostr:note1h5su6d6ah6q4yt5qvg3z8vlqhcjzsr6dey20npsuvzy0k4j8ccfq6dkupd

This is not even everything you could customise manually.
Now add DVM's as custom feed creators.
I can see Custom Feeds being very useful for onboarding:

One feed with trending twitter-like posts
One with memes only
One with #introductions etc
Some more Topic focused
...
