Stalk This:
A feature idea I've been hearing @tanel talk about, if I'm not mistaken, and that I'd would use all the time myself.

Any client that let's you filter notifications with your profile lists (Following, ...) yet?

Bigger accounts are going to need this.
They and company accounts might even need "filter by Supporters", "filter by Clients", "filter by Followers of Employee X", ...
That's why I make these things you know. To make myself feel like it is 😜 .
Rugged you here, scuzi. Uploaded the wrong (less powerfull) version first 🙃
Will be doing more of these to start including them (as nostr notes!!!) in www.nostrdesign.org
That way visitors can click through to your comments and get a more nuanced view.

Iterating on zap designs ⚡
Zap modal seems like the best place to ask for a split for your app, for now.

The Nostr 201 panel ended up being mostly about #cyberspace! Here is the timestamped stream: https://youtu.be/Nz15SyiwQFk?t=4693

Loved this panel!
Somehow I knew this meme would come in handy at some point:

Legendary move by Vitor 🔥
I suppose NIP-05 syntax has been derived from LN addresses. I don't know if choosing an email like format has been the best idea (in both cases) because it's easily recognizable, but the goal is completely different and this can create a lot of troubles in the UX.
Why not simply change the separator and create a new and unique Nostr address?
user#domain.tld
If I see a @ linked address on a web page I expect to click it to open my email client. If I found a # linked address I know it will open my Nostr DM micro app to the user chat, or will fallback to the user profile.
In fact it can actually be a landing page pointer too; root domains can be ##domain.tld
Nostr apps that extensively use NIP-05, like the just proposed "shared login" by nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft could improve the communication and avoid a lot of confusion.
Probably we can save newcomers from silly frustrations, e.g. "why I cannot login in Coracle with my Gmail?!", and perhaps prevent some security related problems too.
Maybe it can also help to spread the protocol, becoming a neutral brand in business cards and advertising.
Make sense?
Any cons?
#nostrdesign
Yup, thought about that too. Very confusing indeed, but a # might be even weirder.
Is this an option? 👉 username(n)domain.com
Branding-wise that'd be something I can work with 😉
Thanks for making me think about the "neutral brand" aspect btw, there's definitely advantages there.
Profile page design with:
👉 + button for "follow", "mute" and "add to list" (nostrudel has something similar already and it's 🔥 )
👉 Support / Subscriptions in a prominent spot
👉 Connections (overlapping follows) displayed
👉 Drop down for accessing other feeds than Notes

I need this too.
Pairs well with note taking apps.
Pablo has some plans there but probably others too by now.
So something like this? nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft

So what you mean is that now any app that let's users log in with "email" can integrate nostr on top of those log ins without necessarily custodying their users nsecs?
Really trying to see why and how this works in two ways.
What are examples of non-nostr systems with NIP-05 ID's?
Neat! Damn that solves a looooot for the normies.
Time to start editing some signup flows 👌
on the second flight I finished writing the implementation (and modifications to NIP-46) to make the following possible:
1. Alice goes to App A (e.g. Coracle) -- she clicks "create account" and gets a NIP-05 "alice@somesite.com". She uses Coracle as she normally would.
2. Alice goes to App B (e.g. Primal) -- she clicks "login" and types in "alice@somesite.com". A popup comes up and asks Alice if she wants to authorize this application to access her account. In an advanced setting She can scope down what the application can do (e.g. only create short notes but don't change the profile data)
At no point is there any mention of nsec, npub, keys, NIP-07, nsecbunker. Nothing. It just works.

Yeeees!
Does this mean they'd need sats already during onboarding for their nsecbunker hosting though?
Glad to hear this is not defeating the whole point of being on GrepheneOS. I'm new to it and Gboard is far superior indeed.
