Good question:
- Because of DVM integration mainly. Suuuuper bullish on the craziness that will come out of that. (Scheduled posts, Notary time stamps already go beyond the typical ChatGPT/DALL-E use cases)
- Because I see them as Drafts for some kind of less private use anyway
- Because there's a whole spectrum of (private collabs, notes with PR's, community notes, notes that only your supporters can see, ...) that Nostr enables and that goes beyond Notion/Skiff.
- Because I want to seamlessly embed Nostr events
- And because I'm going to want all these things in my private relay for my AI assistant to go through real soon 😜
So, a simple nostr notes writing app with collab/pubication features seems like a good start.
A simple personal notes app.
- focus on instant writing private notes, threads and long form
- that then can be published publicly if wished
- that easily lets me embed highlights, notes, other stuff,...
- with DVMs for speech-to-text, image gen, etc...
Just because I need inspiration for this myself 😉.
Gamification would be fun, throw in some badges along the way too. thndr games is already automating badges in this way

The zap onboarding is a hard one. You always have to send them to another app/service or go the Primal route. eCash can really be a game changer here, since an npub is enough to start receiving funds.

Note also that there will be other and way better apps for instant post writing and publishing. (Shipyard being just the first)
Encouraging engagement is more about making it super easy and fluid to comment, join chats and community and discover like minded folk.

Two points to hit home:
1. This is the first time we have final instant settlement online → we don't have to use credit → we don't give a f*** who's buying
2. Any app can display all the available DVM's for a specific feature at any time, at any price → if more or better DVM come online → their app and everyone else's improve without them doing anything.
