this government actively hates its citizens, so very unfortunately that won't happen. this is like the opposite of what's going on in SV the people in the US aren't as fed up with their criminals like the peasants over there are.

it's still impoverished, not nearly as dangerous as it was a year ago for reasons moon said. they are trying to attract foreign investment so cleaning out the trash then educating the peasant population so they're not as poor.

imo the president is looking at qatar for inspiration and trying to replicate their model. i only say that cause he goes over to doha a few times a year and his wife was speaking at their conferences. the qatari government also has some deals with el salvador and is looking to expand on more deals in the legal/finance realm.
