Just joined!

I'm 28 years old, my family ran an internet Cafe during my early teens, I must have first heard about Bitcoin in 2012, when an older friend of my brother suggested we should be mining on all the computers in the internet Cafe.. We never did, unfortunately.

My question is, what was the average computer able to mine back in 2012? I've been dreading into looking at this thought, but I guess this could be a great first nostr post!
