For those who suffer from nausea induced by motion sickness or surgery, this might be something worth talking to your doctor about. Throughout my pregnancies I've taken dozens of nausea medications and I think this contributed to my relatively smooth C-section this morning. I had this Scopolamine patch placed behind my ear this morning and I only had one major vomiting episode during surgery. I usually vomit the entire time and require frequent suction. I'm also incredibly allergic to most adhesive and this hasn't irritated my skin in the slightest.

Besides anxiety about having a major surgery to birth my child, the C-section went well this morning. My spinal was placed appropriately this time and I had no unexpected pain! Baby boy and I are both healthy and Lord willing we will be able to leave here early tomorrow morning. I'm up and moving around and pain wise, this has been the easiest experience.
I had a small hiccup in recovery when my diastolic blood pressure dropped to 32 and had to receive medication and multiple bags of fluids to elevate it. One moment I thought "wow I don't feel very coordinated and I'm so sleepy, I could just close my eyes..." And the next all the nurses are frantic getting me taken care of. During the chaos baby boy was content to close his eyes and nurse away.

Lol I thought it was going to get broken by the baby. My kids dropped my DS in a mop bucket and my Wii-U in the toilet. Daughter learned it's dangerous to game on the pot.

I'm having some anxiety which is making my hands shake and go numb so it's hard to type. Tyler and the kids just left so I think I'm just anxious to be alone. But praise the Lord I'm the only Mom here so I get all the attention 🙏🏻
