Long time no note... been quite busy and offline.
Its still quite cold abd overcast for the time of year here, olants just continue to grow. We went from almost bare dirt to almost completely covered. 🤯
The earthworks terrace growies are alive but all of them show stunted growth, even with the rain we get every now and then. Its what I expected, and am grateful for the berm to be covered.

today partialy clouded, but the sun is strong. A reminder of the heat and dryness coming our way. Thanks to the little growth and tiny earthworks, more water stored in ground.
Today however it's fiat mining day.
Dreaming of getting out there and moving some dirt, to direct water. I'll get to it eventually, it gives me hope and something worth while to look out for. Fiat stuff is draining, the stress of everyday life in fiat society ...

Been a while, been busy...
Had quite many rain events for this area! 🥳
Now we get some sun but moztly grey and cloudy. Perfect for seeds sprouting.
Heres an update on the earthworks I did while ago. Though done crudely and in my opinion unfinished, it does work. Images dont show it well but the center of the terrace is a lot more wet. During the rain there must have been standing water. All in all this is a success!! 🥹🥳 And the berm has many many seeds sprouting. So far mostly oats, lentils, sunflowers, some beans... and definitely NO almonds... mister boar came by and literally ate ALL of them. That's okay, shows I'm getting better at making a boar garden 😉

All this to say, never give up, continue the work, keep on grinding, the rewards are totally worth it.
I am super grateful for having the chance to do this and give back to nature.
