Sorry, seems like the might be a slight disconnect here. Once I installed alby, I had to close the browser entirely and the launch it again. Then it just worked.

What are your essential foods to have at a cookout?
The only way I'm able to reproduce this is if I launch brave and install or enable alby in that window. If I close the window and reopen, it then works with brave's default settings.
Does that error come after you click the Nostr link?
TIL that writing browser extensions is a pain in the ass. It's always gratifying though, knowing that it's for something meaningful to you.
is your console spitting any errors? My first guess would be it's something brave is blocking, which can typically be whitelisted somewhere.
