"Prayer In Motion"
One of the measurements always was to create a symphony in a single image. Does it evoke a world being born inside you? The state of the dancer, Marina, during the shoot opened a sacred space — the kind you enter by aligning with it, not forcing anything. Her movement felt like a physical yes to something already present, not an attempt to rise above it.
It gave rise to a new frequency within the Senses series. It required me to travel, photograph, get inspired, and step off my usual path for it to come together. The worn textures and fractured surfaces around her weren’t there to be conquered; they simply held the frame for a moment where body, light, and intention settled into the same direction. The motion wasn’t escape — it was submission to a rhythm older than either of us.
It’s a testament to the mastery found in spaces of worship, to her talent and dedication as an artist, and to the mountains of Switzerland. Technically, it blends dance, photography, painting, and image collaging. Spiritually, it touches that thin place between the past and what’s forming now — not by reaching higher, but by agreeing to stand inside it.
