Seated with a big group for a festive dinner, everyone was chatting, exchanging stories, and I had done my best to fit in with glittery shoes, sparkling statement ring, shiny make-up, pink stuff, puffy stuff, and I even styled my hair.

I seemed to blend in until they asked "So, what do YOU do for a living?".

I said "I teach people code."
