Merry Christmas and have a happy new year

I want to learn HPC. The idea of having all cores and cpu lanes purring makes me happy. Inspired by firedancer [1]. Take a look at the header files e.g. tango, where explanations are. Vibe coding is fun to see the same result quicker than usual but dulls the thoughts that'd normally get you there in the first place.

Android is Trust On First Use (TOFU). Obtanium allows you to share to AppVerifier on first install to verify it. From then on you dont have to worry as it'll only update if the signature is the same. Word of warning, AppVerifier only contains a small amount of signatures stored in itsinternally db [1]. Often a dev will include their signature on github and then you can paste that in to AppVerifier to double check.

I have some questions I don't think are readily answered in the docs. Forgive me if these are painfully obvious.

1. Battery - Does running a private space within a user profile use less battery than two separate running user profiles (I assume so right?).

2. De-anonymization/fingerprinting- Assuming a properly configured VPN, is it possible for an app within the private space to be able to identify or fingerprint the user and correlate it against the outer user profile. Ignoring time zones for now (one possible fingerprint method I seen, not an indication of any perceived importance).

Hope this reaches you and again forgive me if these are painfully obvious.

Very cool. My dream is that we'll have inner app split circuits. I eventually want something to prevent profiling, each unique thing (e.g. sub to several RSS feeds) all sent through separate circuits. Something similar uses for gpg refresh back in the day.

I get spammed by the reply guy as soon as I post πŸ˜‚. Open for recommendations on follows as my status says, will check of your follows for now
