Ultimately things like IP will fade away imo. Rewarding value at the source, patronage will take over. If the people commit to it. Plenty from the last 10 years shows this is viable. Supporting creators because you want to see more from them, not simple exchange transactions.

I see this as a good thing. An annoyance maybe to find relays that work for your purposes, but the freedom of choice that is decentralization. Some apps will want to offer child safe and "family friendly" services and content, some won't. Endless relays can be set up to achieve whatever standards are desired.

I don't think it tastes like soap to me and I think I like it. But I psyoped myself to be worried about a soap taste.

Financial freedom and the ability to communicate freely and anonymously if desired helps reduce vulnerabilities for sw.
