Took a nap today and missed tech 9/11
Good afternoon #artstr

Maybe the thing that took 5+ years and angels and VCs to take off isn't the roadmap to follow for growth. 🤷 🤍
-community building is- inclusion, recognition, giving people a job, sharing a variety of interests, skill swapping, reward/value, then meet ups and celebrations.
-marketing is- how is it different? How is it different in ways people care about? Is it easy to use, fun, interesting, exciting? What's the hook?
-building is- organization. Find and put your talent to work. Compartmentalize task groups. Separate discussion topics. (Discord does this very well, IDK what nostr has like this)
Life is an endless playground if you know where to look.

That sounds confusing. I mean historians and outsider perspectives. They always lack understanding and portray it as a chess game with quips and quotes from wealthy men in safe offices.
Why do schizophrenics always find me
He is mainly a war historian and outside of personal accounts I'm not very interested in reading about war. Too close.
Finally read Slaughterhouse Five. I think I'll have to read the rest of Kurt's novels now (I generally stick to nonfiction).
And so it goes.
Bitcoin L2 has like 4 things, none of them offer all the extras in one (native, smart contracts, speed, privacy etc). There is little innovation and little choice. Lightning is pretty good, but still has privacy issues. There's this culture of keeping it pure and a refusal to recognize that Bitcoin wasn't perfect. It's a beautiful idea and world changing tech, but you don't stop with the first iteration of an idea.
I really wish the #bitcoin community had put their back into L2 like Eth did. It's a better foundation with comparatively nothing built on it. I hope the energy from this cycle flows in that direction more. Yes there is more crime and trash in a big city, but there's more opportunity and growth there too. 🤍
Oh 😏
