I'm glad I was able to make my mom happy today. Took her to South Beach to have dinner with her childhood best friend. Haven't seen her light up like that in a while. Also, I'm glad to finally be home and away from old people showing family photos to each other, but still. Nice time.
Being on #nostr for me, personally, is to be out of my element and comfort zone politically. What keeps me coming back is Bitcoin/Zaps, and the overwhelming sense of community. I get more engagement on bluesky and Twitter, but the perspectives and different opinions on here are invaluable to me.

Really like some of these movies! Noticed they were mostly/all about aliens as bad guys, though. Do you think that's true? I think they're more evolved than us so they don't have our morals, but I think they're more advanced because they think of the collective not the individual, so we perceive them as cold, callous and unfeeling.
