Nothing more than vanity of seeing my name in my pubkey versus a completely random string
They're no more of a threat than any non-vanity address would be. I could focus a search on any non-vanity address type if I wanted to impersonate someone else. I'd say this is the best reason for using NIP-05 address to help validate your account.
Potentially losing connections sucks but what I'm going to try to do is set this account as a delegated authority over the new mined account. That way I can keep using these keys to post and building the new profile and hopefully with time moving everyone to it.
Any chance you guys create a non-nip05 package? Something people can use to buy access to your relay and spaces based on pubkey alone so they can continue to use their own NIP05

I've been using https://gateway.no.str.cr/ to find transactions that I need to see on more relays then rebroadcasting those to the relays that are missing the data. It's helped my loading times drastically because more relays have the data but would also help fix this issue.
PS I think we don't see Jack's change because he's not running the right CORS headers on the cashapp site for Astral to pick it up...i dont think damus requires that
