🧔 My year in a nutshell:

Bilbo Baggins always said, 'It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out of your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to…

Who can relate?

✨After the excitement of Africa Bitcoin Conference, I found myself on a solo trip with a guide in Amboseli National Park, standing on the vast African savannah as a herd of elephants crossed my path. Their grace took my breath away. I watched them move deliberate, steady, carrying everything they’ve seen and survived.

In the distance, Mount Kilimanjaro stood, silent and powerful. It felt like a mirror to life’s lessons 🧔 we all carry something our past, our fears, our hopes for what lies ahead. And yet, like the elephants, we must keep walking, trusting the ground beneath us, even when the path feels uncertain.

There was one elephant, a massive bull, alone. My guide told me he had been chased off for being too dominant, too aggressive. It struck me strength without balance can isolate us. The herd, on the other hand, moved as one protecting, nurturing, and surviving together. It reminded me that true strength lies not just in what we carry, but in how we walk forward, together.

This trip was paid for with #Bitcoin through nostr:npub1tand04svfdhrt7lhg6687fh0y2xvxfpr9nkkj27rqfrxfpeklldsp48sax and that, too, felt symbolic. A digital currency, born out of ideas of freedom and trust, enabled me to stand here in this ancient, timeless land. It’s a small example of how technology connects us to possibility, to experiences that matter.

#Africa is often called the cradle of life, and in many ways, it feels like the future as well. What we carry our stories, our purpose, our struggles shapes where we go next. For me, this journey is about finding my voice, stepping into my power, and remembering that movement, even slow and deliberate, leads us somewhere beautiful. I see the world differently and excited to continue meeting more incredible people that will bring more meaning to this short life.

Like the elephants, I’ll carry what’s meaningful and leave the rest behind. This is just the beginning.

I think many of us can relate to being in that boat. With so much noise around us, it’s the perfect time to self-reflect and build with intention. I love attending conferences to connect and grow with the community, though they can sometimes feel draining. nostr:npub1a2cww4kn9wqte4ry70vyfwqyqvpswksna27rtxd8vty6c74era8sdcw83a I’ll be focusing on telling the stories of the financial revolution through film and fostering meaningful connections through action. I’d love to share more about what we’re working on and schedule something for next year. Feel free to message me!

Words can’t fully capture how incredibly grateful I am. Timing and patience brought me to this moment…my first official talk at the #AfricaBitcoinConference on ā€œTelling the Stories of the Financial Revolution through Film.ā€ There couldn’t have been a more perfect place to begin sharing my voice and my own stories.

During the conference, someone asked me, ā€œWhy Africa?ā€ I didn’t get the chance to respond directly, but here’s my answer: Africa is the #Bitcoin story. It’s leading in adoption and energy innovation through the power of community. 🧔

I was deeply moved by the feedback and inspired by the incredible individuals who came up to me after the talk. As storytellers, navigating the system can often feel like an uphill battle, and that’s no accident. There are forces that prefer silence, but I firmly believe we must uplift and amplify each other’s voices to push forward together. Thank you God for amazing woman like Farida for taking a chance on me 🧔

A beautiful African proverb shared with me during this trip has stayed in my heart:

ā€œUntil the lion tells the story, the hunter will always be the hero.ā€

Let’s ensure the lions tell their stories. Support your storytellers
