Most contractors are crooks. I had a plumber estimate $500 to install a toilet and said it needed the floor repaired… a new floor… I just did it myself, $10 with materials from Home Depot.

Very true. Most of the Internet has been soiled by the general public and is quite repetitive and boring.
If nostr is supposed to be a public protocol, then why in the world was NIP-04 ever approved and committed? The list of NIPs had gotten quite long and we aren’t taking the time to effectively vet new proposals. We should take the time to properly scrutinize and review any new NIPs.

I’ll go back and reiterate what I said initially before Damus was released. This should be a web app. It is the best way to go, to avoid something like Apple policies. There is no reason to make mobile apps.

This is why the idea of an “app store” was always a bad concept.
He’s acting as though Damus is nostr… Damus opted to be an ios app, thereby yes it needed to adhere to the rules of a centralized fascist business, unfortunately. What his take doesn’t include is the fact that whatever the portal is into nostr, your post are on the underlying network, which yes is decentralized. Something you cannot do with Twitter.
