After 30 years in the tech industry, a few important things I’ve learned:
- Don’t be married to your job, always spend time with your real family
- No matter what, your job is not a family, and they will drop you in a heartbeat
- Don’t work for a female CEO; just being honest🤷
- If your CEO was an engineer in a past life, be careful they don’t try and “help out”, that’s a sign to get out asap
- Whoever you work with should respect work/life boundaries, no matter what, even if it’s a start-up. There are zero advantages to slaving over the work.
- Be careful of Y Combinator and Silicon Valley types
It’s an amazing timeline to be part of.
Y’all need to stop taking sides for real. People are dying no matter who, and the Palestinian government is no better.

It’s interesting how people act when they are truly free to do as they please. Restrictive platforms like X and Meta punish those who express themselves freely. By doing so, human beings subconsciously fight back and act up. Naturally, human beings don’t like to be told what to do. Nostr is an amazing social experiment that proves that if you let us humans just be, everything tends to fix itself, it’s less chaotic, and things progress at an astonishing pace.
It’s an insane fact when you think about it. Bitcoin literally fixes pretty much everything. Maybe this is what scares most people. The idea that there’s something like Bitcoin that is so close to perfect. Humans aren’t used to that.
