Yup. I worked at Compu$erve in the 80s and 90s. Verizon dumped the last archive of all the forum post ~10+ years ago: "no business case to keep them...." (my father spent 30 years at the Ohio Historical Society microfilming and preserving 19th and 20th century newspapers )
