A Northern Flicker just woke me up from my afternoon nap. 2 of them in my yard. First time I’ve seen them in my yard and pond. Loud little guys. Not a bad way to wake up at all. Happy to finally have the wide windows open. Nice, cool, dry breeze flowing the house. I am ready for Fall!
