Stepped out in the back yard at dusk, admiring the garden's growth. The bean vines are climbing higher on the trellis extension I recently added, and seem to have further ambitions.

"Look at you! Reaching for the sky, like my antennas. Wait, are you trying to get onto my G5RV inverted-V? No, not okay! Get away from it! Bad bean! Shoo!"

Driving on commute in the California Bay Area, I pass by a big "$45 ozs" billboard.

I recall in the nineties taking a poly sci class at a junior college. When discussing drug laws, a middle-aged woman guessed at the current price of cannabis then.

"Uh, is it...what...$40 an ounce?"

...and the younger students in my class burst out laughing at the thought.

We waited a few decades and it pretty much became true? Guess so.

Another curbside find: a contractor's air compressor. 15 Amps, high air flow.

Cleaning up fittings. Will fabricate a replacement cover for the electrical box. Need to clean rust off electric motor. Check oil in the air pump. Fix the air filter.

Replaced the broken pressure regulator already.

Bought a hose and fittings kit from Harbor Freight.
