I wish I had gone on a Bitcoin standard a year ago and not when the price was $100,000. It would make this dip seem much easier to get through, although I’m still way up since I’ve been stacking for four years now. It just sucks paying my fiat credit card with sats while the price keeps going down. 😢
The brisket is now in the smoker. I’ll have to keep checking back every 10-15 minutes to make sure the temperature is around 225° F. This smoker uses charcoal and only has an air intake pipe and an outgoing exhaust pipe to regulate the temperature. So it needs to be checked on often to made small adjustments. If you cook at too high temps the brisket won’t be as tender.

Corporate taxes and foreign tariffs do exactly the same thing, they raise the price of goods and the extra cost gets passed on to the consumer. If they are against tariffs because it will hurt the consumer they should also be against corporate taxes.
I don’t listen to JRE all the time but I definitely will when Dave Smith is on.

When I was a kid fast food restaurants were also brightly colored but now they’re all grey and beige.
It’s not really a free market when your goods are tariffed at such high rates. All Trump did was give those other countries less of a discount on tariffs. The US is still tariffing them at half of what they are tariffing the US. Argentina cut their tariffs to 0% and the US followed suit.
