Quitting the computer games is something I have recently started taking seriously after having played most days for 20 years. I've known for a long time that it was no longer giving me joy, except for when doing it with the wife or other friends.
It's been a process of many years realizing how it has shaped me into an extreme procrastinatinator, something which I'll have to deal with over time I reckon, but it feels like a switch has been flipped to where I can no longer play without feeling guilty if I haven't first accomplished my daily goals.
Falling down the Bitcoin rabbit hole last year really started me on the journey to where this was possible, and strangely enough it was listening to a book recommended by nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev, Atomic Habits, that flipped said switch.

Ashigaru is a "fork" of Samourai wallet. It has been up and running quite a while and is even better than Samourai. You can download it here, https://ashigaru.rs/ but you will need TOR to do so.

Why? Well apart from being probably the most privacy minded wallet out there, you have just used your old phone as a seed signer. Airgapped. Free.

We've been trying to use a bit less plastic shit as well, mostly food containers. Been forced to stop using plastic bags by the Norwegian government due to insane taxes, reusable bags are very common here now. A pain to deal with tho 😅

I don't disagree, but ultimately this kind of thing will have the most profound effect on wall street. Slightly less so on your average American, and far less so on the other 97% or whatever of the world's population. That said, the US obviously has a strong cultural influence, but I just don't think that will make much of a mark on bitcoin as a whole
This is a lesson that has to be relearned every generation of new bitcoiners until it sinks in. Bitcoin bank runs will happen and people will get rugged. Same dynamic as gold except we are far more free to hide our wealth from governments and other bad actors, which gives me a tremendous sense of hope.
