I’ve only tried Start9 and I liked it. Gonna try Umbrel one day though. If you end up trying them both out, let us know what you think.
Would be nice if #nostr had a job board that was updated with opportunities in the space. I know there’s ostrich work and someone owns the domain nostrjobs.com but there hasn’t been any activity this year. I know devs shill there projects but it would be nice if you could get all that information in one place. Kind of like bitcoinerjobs.com. A place where job/volunteer opportunities live so if people new to the space want to get involved and get experience they can be directed there.
There’s also just a lot of projects going on. So keeping up with them all in your feed could be difficult. Also, if you’re not technical it can be hard to know where to start. I know that I personally started with giving feedback on my experience with the apps. However, I’d like to do more. Maybe time will tell what exactly that looks like for me.

Yeah, I get that. But if we’re able to get our following list from client to client I would assume there could be a way to sync bookmarks as well if a client offers it. I’m not a dev so idk 🤷♀️

Today was a very low key day at the farm. I didn’t spend as much time there but still loved every second of it. Being around like minded people and being able to talk with your tin foil hat and not be looked at side ways is great. Just talking about politics and life respectfully. Great conversations today!

It’s been about a week since I’ve been using nostr apps on my daily driver (iPhone) and it’s been good so far. I mainly use Nos, followed by Freerse, Damus, and FreeForm. I use each app for a different purpose.
#Nos is my go to because of its design and simplicity, no DMs or zaps though. However, that’s not a big deal to me.
#Freerse is nice because of the preset hashtag section and it supports long form articles. But the trending tap doesn’t display notes a good bit of the time.
#Damus is sleek! I really like how they offer a variety of settings. My favorite one being able to blur pictures because nostr reminds me of Tumblr. Going in the global feed in public really is a do at your own risk kind of thing 😂 you never know what you’re going to see!
#Freeform is nice all around but I wish there were other options than wallet of satoshi for the default wallet. What I really look forward to is being able to check out the chat capabilities!
