If you are a Bitcoiner with the idea of "fast massive adoption at all costs", you must know this is a #FIAT idea and a mindset that should be shifted.
Why? Because this stems from the egoistical (which is not wrong) idea of pumping your bags, that isn't an issue at all unless you still value your BTC on fiat, isn't it? So if you still don't get #Bitcoin beyond fiat, who are you to try to push it on others? The only think you are pushing to your peers is the same fiat mentality you have, they all end up seeing this as a casino... But we all know Bitcoin is more that that, is security, freedom and sovereignty over our most precious asset, time.
Part of this fiat mindsetis the idea of building more, faster, iterate, create BIPs, features on ligjtning even try to push chabges on mainnet that no one ask for, talk ablut things not yet proven like "Bitcoin Security Budget" just bc others are talking about it, you don't have to bc you don't even get the fundamentals and in tje end trying to push these chabges is dangeroud, as you know what else is built under this idea of moving fast, marketing and pushing adoption at all costs?
The fucking financial system Bitcoin was created to fight against in the first place!
The house of cards that keeps getting cards added and keeps scrambling, eaxh day it seems more unstable, you can see the cards at the bottom can't hold the weight anymore.
This house of cards is the result of a lack of strong foundations, the result of an improvisation mindset with such important things as the financial representation of time and value of the whole world, and you with your fiat mindset are translting things here.
The base still needs reinforcements, privacy is essential for example and needs to be addressed so others can't end up getting identified by heuristics, among other things... The thing is, take you time to study, look for contradicting ideas and based on this form an opinion.
You are still a pioneer here and you have the responsibility to understand Bitcoin, to lead with example and the rest will follow, provide value and value will be received back.

If for some reason the block rewards are not enough to pay to the miners and they have to stop operating, REJOICE! bc that means the hashrate is going to be more democratized, possibly it won't reach break-even for an antminer S1500+ PRO ULTRA MAX, but surely it will create the incentive for creating a bit less powerful but still capable devices that can be afforded by the barefoot mortal to mine in their homes and not in an industrial complex full of miner sounds 24/7, all tied to antpool for the "reawards bro"
Don't you think privacy on-chain by default, or even increasing decentralization by default is a greater problem? I mean Bitcoin was created with the purpose of making you free, private, and sovereign, not to make you rich...
I mean we could discuss the incentives for the miner fees, but in the end the biggest pools are going to keep getting bigger and probably create a real centralization problem for the network, bc maybe you haven't noticed but the two biggest pools in the network have more than 50% power over the network hashrate... And if you don't know what that means you shouldn't even have to be discussing fees for blocks that are going to be mined in 110 years.
You need to go back and study the security foundations of bitcoin instead of talking of the FUD spread by the influencer of the week farming engagement.
To be fair, we do absolutely need to improve on-chain privacy.

Remember #Bitcoin is just a tool, and in the end it should be seen as such.
Many Bitcoiners think they are too intelligent to get into a sort of involuntary cult, but that's a bias.
Even the smartest ones can get fooled, as we all as humans operate with feelings.
The main way I've found to easily know if someone is blinded is by seeing them telling everyone and for any reason "bitcoin fixes this"
The clearest example is the recent announcement of tor network integraring PoW in order to reduce the impacts of DDoS attacks in the future.
Some people were suggesting to use lightning or onchain for this, others asking who would like to integrate tor network on lightning, assuming either that everyone already knows how to use lightning or following this "adoption at all costs" chatter.
Just think twice, because once you fall in love with the cult of bitcoin it looks like a hammer and everything seems as a nail.
