The Stand is very long, and other series have done post-apocalyptic America better since.
The early pandemic outbreak in The Stand is chilling though, and I wonder how it reads now.
Early in the pandemic I was reading lots of apocalyptic fiction before I decided it was amplifying my anxiety to an unreasonable level. I'm not looking for that type of experience again right now.

Is it this miniseries, or something else I don't know about?
I follow many accounts on #Mastodon that provide wonderful information from around the world from different perspectives and are great to learn from or be inspired by reading.
My addiction to social media is less acute, I wake up with less anxiety, and I have curiosity about so many new topics. The growth of the #Fediverse helps me maintain positivity throughout the day!
