i created an experimental ephemeral social network called Ember, it is available for testing at https://ember-network.netlify.app. You can self-host it by following the instructions on the github page: https://github.com/PubliusPseudis/ember - there are no relays, it operates as a mixnet. each node is a full node. The node runs fully in the browser. It is ephemeral by nature (posts disappear if they are not carried) and there is a special interactive kind of post called "living posts" that enable the author to construct interactive games using ES5 javascript.
